Terms of Use

These Terms of Use govern your use of Animal Sound Identifier (the "Application"), provided by Veysel Yeşilmen ("we", "us"). By downloading or using the Application, you agree to these Terms.

License

We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the Application for your personal, non-commercial use, on a device you own or control, in accordance with these Terms and the applicable app store's terms of service.

Identification Results

The Application uses automated and AI-assisted analysis to suggest possible species from a photo or sound. Results are provided for informational purposes only, may be inaccurate, and should not be relied on for safety-critical, medical, legal, or commercial decisions.

Subscriptions

Certain features require a paid subscription, billed through your Apple ID. Subscriptions renew automatically unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. You can manage or cancel a subscription in your Apple ID account settings (Settings > your name > Subscriptions). Prices, free trial availability, and offerings may change; always check the purchase confirmation sheet before you subscribe.

Acceptable Use

You agree not to copy, modify, reverse-engineer, or redistribute the Application or its content, use it for any unlawful purpose, or attempt to disrupt or gain unauthorized access to our systems.

Your Device

You are responsible for keeping your device secure. We recommend against jailbreaking or rooting your device, as this may expose it to malware and affect the Application's functionality. Some features require an internet connection; you are responsible for any data charges from your mobile provider.

Third-Party Services

The Application uses third-party services (including Apple, RevenueCat, Firebase, and OneSignal) to operate core features such as purchases, analytics, crash reporting, and notifications. Your use of those features is also subject to the respective third party's own terms.

Changes and Availability

We may change, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Application, or these Terms, at any time. Continued use of the Application after a change to these Terms means you accept the updated Terms. We may also terminate or restrict access to the Application at our discretion, including for a violation of these Terms.

Disclaimer and Limitation of Liability

The Application is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of, or inability to use, the Application, including reliance on any identification result.

Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws applicable in your country of residence, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, except where mandatory local consumer protection law provides otherwise.
